We all know someone who is affected by struggles with mental health. As a parent I also know that most kids will confide in their peers about their struggles. They want to feel understood and sometimes that comes from other kids rather than their parents and caregivers.
This exhibit is of kids, teens, and young adults who are willing to be photographed and talk about their struggles with mental health. The hope is that others will feel less alone with their feelings and know there is hope and they are not alone. Everyone in this world has a story, and stories have the power to connect and enrich us. If you are willing to tell your story, please sign up below and submit your story. If you are under 18 you will need your parent’s permission.
This exhibit will happen in May 2024 to coincide with Mental Health Awareness month. All proceeds will go to Bryson’s Chase, Inc. and used to help kids pay for their mental health care. No one should have to go without the care they need because of finances. I invite you to intentionally strive to look around and look within to find connections between yourself and the world around you. We are more similar than different!
